nice shot of the lion - I especially like the way that there is an echo between the grass in the foreground, his tousled mane, and the bamboo(?) in the background. nice dof and bokeh too.

@~Kylie~: I used the Sigma 70-300 1:4-5.6. I have mixed feelings about it. I haven't quite figured out how to use it in the macro mode. It is a very cheap lens and gives great results. When it doesn't I think it's my fault for not using a tripod.

He's beautiful. I have a cheapo Nikon 70-300. At $130 I'd say it was well worth the money, but I miss a lot of shots, so I recently got a 70-300 VR lens that I'm now testing.
