So what? I got in a fight!

Posted by Sandrine (Cincinnati, United States) on 18 January 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

It didn't seem to bother him. A friend told me that they don't actually have any feelings in their horns.

Thanks for stopping by! I love to hear any of your thoughts...

He does like a "veteran" of the ram wars! :-) This was a fine one to notice and shoot. I like his direct, right at the camera, stare too. Well done.

Beautiful portrait and he doesn't seem too upset. It must be painful considering all that blood, can't imagine they don't have feeling in the horns.

haha - this belies many city-dwelling tree-huggers' belief that the natural world is peaceful and harmonious. what a tremendous shot: he still looks belligerent and defiant - I wouldn't want to argue with him!
